iOS from version to version tries to better protect our privacy, which is undoubtedly welcome. I look with much less sympathy on applications on this system, which – which iOS 14 clearly shows – have excessive appetite for our data. The clipboard in the operating system is such a temporary data storage. Which specifically? All those that we copy or cut for later pasting. For example, when on the iPhone we hold the finger for a longer time, press the copy button, then before we paste this text to another place is stored in the said clipboard. Selected applications on our phone have access to the clipboard. In some cases, this has some justification – just like access to the location of the phone, its camera or microphone, access to the Clipboard can increase the usability of a given app. However, this should only be allocated when it is actually necessary.
