The wearables market in India is growing at a frantic pace, with the last few months seeing some of the biggest names in the industry jump into the fray with their offerings. The latest in this list is Xiaomi which only a few days ago launched its first smartwatch in the country — The Mi Watch Revolve. Launched in India after first being announced in select foreign markets earlier in the year, the Mi Watch Revolve is the company’s answer to the domination of Apple and Samsung in the smart wearables segment. However, unlike the Apple Watch series, or Samsung’s Galaxy Watch or Watch Active series of devices, the Mi Watch Revolve attempts to cater to the masses by aggressively targeting the sub- Rs 10,000 price point.
