I missed it so much. The spacebar becomes the cursor on the SwiftKey keyboard
One of Apple’s cooler ideas is that of using the on-screen space bar as a cursor control button. Now the idea is copied by Microsoft in its SwiftKey keyboard. SwiftKey is one of the first things I install on a new tablet or phone if it doesn’t have this keyboard installed. The on-screen keyboard, taken over by Microsoft years ago, knows me so well and my typing style that teaching this new program does not smile at all. In addition, apart from this unusual relationship, Swiftkey offers a lot of cool features and tools – from nonsense in the form of a GIF search engine to a great swipe mechanism or instant access to pasting business documents. And there is more. SwiftKey does have one downside though, which is why I checked and tested other keyboards for something better. Cursor control is basically non-existent in this keyboard.
