Exhausted teachers, frustrated parents and alienated students. That s what the e-school left us
Only every fourth teacher has no difficulty falling asleep. More than half of parents feel physically worse than before closing school. Almost a third of students often or all the time experienced sadness, loneliness and depression. These are the effects of forced remote teaching. At the turn of May and June, when schools as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic were closed for more than 2 months, the Dbam o Swój Range Foundation, the Orange Foundation and the Polish Media Education Association conducted a study on how teachers and parents of students feel with e-school and the students themselves. The preliminary results of the study ‘Remote learning and adaptation to social conditions during the coronavirus epidemic’, which Spider’s Web reached, are more than depressing.
