Xiaomi renews its portable lid thermos with better thermal insulation


After renewing its Xiaomi Mijia Thermal Cup , Xiaomi has launched a new version of its portable thermos with a lid. Specifically, it is the new version of the Xiaomi Mijia Thermal Cup Cover Edition 2020 , which unlike the standard model adds a practical folding lid.

In detail, the new Xiaomi Mijia Thermal Cup Cover Edition 2020 has a size of 71.5x65x224.7mm and a weight of just 225 grams . Like the previous model, its structure is made of 316L stainless steel, making it easy to clean, while improving insulation.

Unlike the previous model, this new version adds a greater number of insulation layers , in turn adding an air chamber between them in order to improve thermal insulation. With this, it is possible to maintain the temperature inside for up to 6 hours.

As specified by Xiaomi, its new Xiaomi Mijia Thermal Cup Cover Edition is capable of maintaining the temperature of hot drinks at 68º for 6 hours or cold drinks at 10º for the same period of time .

Price and availability

The price of this new version of the Xiaomi Mijia Thermal Cup Cover Edition is 99 yuan, about 12.5 euros to change. At the moment it is only sold in China, although it is likely that we will see it for sale on AliExpress and other platforms shortly.
