Xiaomi improves MIUI security with new clipboard access permissions
Although just a few minutes ago we learned about the new MIUI 12 setting that allows us to verify the hardware changes of our smartphone , Xiaomi seems to have added more features in its latest update, improving security .
This time it is about new permissions for accessing the MIUI clipboard by third-party applications. Now, for an application to be able to read or write to the clipboard, we will have to allow it beforehand.
For this, Xiaomi has implemented a new dialog box (pop-up) that lets us select whether we want to allow or deny access to the clipboard by the application that we are using at the same time and has required access to the clipboard.

In addition, this new dialog box will not only make it easier for us to give access or not to the clipboard, it will also allow us to deny it and delete the content of the clipboard, thus improving the security of any compromising information that we have copied.
Along with this new functionality , new animations have been added that will make it easier for us to recognize at all times if an application has made use of access to read or write the clipboard.
In general, a very useful feature if what we are looking for is to have the highest possible security when copying compromised text between different applications. That is, for the moment, it is only available in the MIUI 12 Beta Chinese ROM so it will take time to be available in the stable version.
