Xiaomi has launched the Google Assistant Mi smart speaker in India

Xiaomi has recently launched several new products in the Indian market, one of which is the Mi smart speaker and the company’s first smart speaker for the Indian market. As you will read in the title, this speaker comes with Google Assistant for voice commands.

Features and specifications of Mi smart speaker

While there are plenty of smart speakers equipped with Google, Xiaomi claims that this product is designed with Indian users in mind. The Xiaomi Smart Speaker comes with a 12-watt speaker and uses a 64.5mm audio driver. According to the brand, the TAS5805M audio processor in the device offers high power and low distortion. It also has an advanced multi-band dynamic response control algorithm. All of these factors help the speaker to provide HiFi audio output.

This smart speaker also has DTS tuned sound to provide clear sound and dynamic bass. Just like any Google speaker, you can easily use the "Ok Google" voice command. This device also supports Hindi language. Xiaomi’s smart speaker has an elongated shape and uses a matte-coated metal mesh design. Also, like the Amazon Echo speakers, it has a ring at the top. There are also a few touch-sensitive buttons at the top that can be used to control the volume, playback and microphone.

This device supports WiFi and Bluetooth for connection and allows the user to switch between smart or regular speakers. It can also be paired with two Mi smart speakers and used as a replacement for stereo sound on the TV. Another advantage of the built-in Chromecast is that it allows the user to stream serials, movies and music to other devices.

Price and availability

The Xiaomi smart speaker has only one color and costs 5,999 rupees ($ 81). The first sale of this product is scheduled for October 1. In addition, Xiaomi is offering a good incentive price for it, and those interested can get this speaker for 3499 rupees ($ 47) in the first sale.
