OnePlus is throwing Facebook bloatware from its smartphones

Bloatware is third-party software that is pre-installed on smartphones upon delivery. Sometimes it isn’t even removable. This is also available at OnePlus.

OnePlus always had the apps from Facebook and Netflix pre-installed on its devices. Facebook is history, this app will no longer be preinstalled on OnePlus smartphones.

The Facebook app and services are no longer available with the new OnePlus 8T , and nothing will change in the future. You listen to the users because there was always criticism of the Facebook app.

From now on only one app is pre-installed, namely Netflix. And only to be able to play HDR content. But you have to be a Netflix customer for that, of course.
