Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 gets One UI 2.5 update

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 now gets the One UI 2.5 update. The September 2020 security update is also included.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 receives a new firmware update that brings the September 2020 security patch and, more importantly, One UI 2.5. The update is distributed in Germany for both the WiFi and LTE models and has the firmware designation T860XXU3BTI2 or T865XXU4BTI1.

The update brings a host of new features, some of which were introduced with the newer Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series.

Samsung’s flagship tablet 2019 has gotten better at multitasking thanks to the latest firmware update. Owners can now split the screen into three areas with Multi Window, and Wireless Dex is also included in the firmware, so users can launch DeX on compatible smart TVs without the need for a physical connection. In addition, the Galaxy Tab S6 now has access to features such as the edge panel, voice recorder and AR zone.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, which runs with the latest firmware, can now display the quality of WiFi connections as long as the router supports this function. The tablet indicates whether a WiFi connection is very fast, fast, normal or slow.

In addition, owners of the tablet can now request the password of a WiFi network from a device nearby that is connected to the same router, as long as the owner of the device is stored in the contact list.
