The Minister of Health has just announced the introduction of red zones in Poland. It is in them that the greatest restrictions will return to maintain the sanitary regime in order to counteract the coronavirus. We already know the details.
If everything goes as planned by the Ministry of Health, new restrictions related to the coronavirus will apply from Saturday. Even today, the draft regulation will be available on the Internet for consultations, and after its completion, to the Council of Ministers.
Coronavirus – red and yellow zones in Poland
The restrictions will not return throughout the country, but only in selected poviats, where the daily increase in the incidence is the highest. The Minister of Health announced that at the beginning, 19 poviats will be covered:
red zones in the following poviats: Ostrzeszów, Nowosądecki, Nowy Sącz, Wieluński, Pszczyński, Ruda Śląska, Rybnik, Rybnik and Wodzisław;
yellow zones in the following poviats: Wieruszów, Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Jarosław, Żory, Kępiński, Przemyśl, Cieszyn, Pińczów, Oświęcim and Przemyśl.
In a given poviat, the rate of incidence per 10 thousand inhabitants will be analyzed. residents during the 14 days prior to publication. The red zone will be determined if it rises above 12, and if it remains in the range from 6 to 12, we will be dealing with the yellow zone.

Among the restrictions that will apply in high-risk zones, there will be an obligation to wear masks in public spaces and limiting the number of passengers in public transport to 50%. places.
The number of people who can take part in family celebrations such as funerals and weddings will also be limited. In the red zones it will be up to 50 people, and in the yellow zones up to 100 people.

If someone finds that they cannot meet this obligation, they will have to have a medical certificate from September 1. Previously, a declaration was enough.
