Under the Zepp brand, now owned by Xiaomi and Huami, today the new Amazfit Zepp E or rather Zepp E has been made official. This time we are faced with a most elegant smartwatch, which also comes in two different formats.

Surprisingly, this new Zepp E has made its debut on the market in two variants differentiated by the format of its screen; On the one hand we have a round model with a 1.28-inch AMOLED screen and a resolution of 416 × 416 pixels, while on the other hand we find a square model with a 1.65-inch screen and a resolution of 348 × 442 pixels.

Both models are characterized by having a fairly elegant design, incorporating high quality materials in order to provide a premium design over the Amazfit GTS and Amazfit GTR . In addition, each one of them comes in various shades, including a striking champagne effect.

Cardiac monitoring, SpO2 sensor and 7 days of autonomy

Both models have continuous cardiac monitoring 24 hours a day. Likewise, both its round and square versions add an SpO2 sensor so that we can obtain information related to the oxygen saturation in the blood.

Of course, since it is a smartwatch related to Amazfit, the Zepp E has a PAI quantifier , allowing us to evaluate our health status. Likewise, both models have NFC that we can use to make payments.

As far as autonomy is concerned, the new Zepp E offers a total duration of up to 7 days making average use of all its functions. On the other hand, if we use it as a basic watch, its autonomy will last 15 days .

Price and availability

The price of the new Xiaomi and Huami smartwatch is 1,399 yuan, about 169 euros for the round version. On the other hand, the square version will mean a price increase to 1,449 yuan, 181 euros at the change.

At the moment this new smartwatch will only be sold in specific regions , starting with China and the US. We will be pending any news of its arrival on the European market.
