Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra: Exynos 990 is said to have been improved [Video]
Many users were disappointed when it became clear that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series would also rely on the Exynos 990 again. It wasn’t nearly as good as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865.
There were major problems with the Exynos 990, especially when it came to gaming. But these seem to have been partially eliminated. A first video from Vietnam shows that there are significant developments in gaming performance and heat.
In the run-up to the release of the new flagships, there were rumors that Samsung should have fundamentally revised the processor. But you didn’t do that. Apparently there was really some tweaking.
The video shows that PUBG runs at a constant frame rate of almost 60 fps and that the device doesn’t seem to get warmer than 40 degrees. It is unclear whether it is the Exynos 990 itself or whether the cooling of the smartphone has been improved.
In the next few weeks, a number of tests should then show whether the Exynos 990 really cuts a better figure in the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series.
