New Redmi 9 Prime: another low-end Xiaomi less “new” than it seems
Again Xiaomi shows us again that its Indian market follows a totally different rhythm from the Chinese one and, in general, from the global one. An example of this is the new Redmi 9 Prime , a renowned Redmi 9 that a priori will only see the light in India.
In case it was not a mess to know the Xiaomi mid-range in detail, the firm has presented this new Redmi 9 Prime as a low-end equipped with certain technologies that until a year ago we would have only seen in the mid-range.
Without going any further and like the Redmi 9, this new Redmi 9 Prime surprises for having a 6.53-inch FHD + screen and an Aura 360 Design that we would certainly never classify in the low-end range. It also adds a total of four cameras among which we find a wide angle and a macro type sensor.

Beyond that, this new Redmi 9 prime includes a 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charge, P2i protection against splashing water, Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, audio jack connector and an infrared IR port.
The price of this new Xiaom entry range intended for the Indian market will be 9,999 rupees, about 113 euros for the 4 / 64GB variant and 11,999 rupees, 135 euros for the 4 / 128GB storage variant.
