Microsoft announced another batch of games that will join the Xbox Game Pass service. The choice is wide – both on consoles and personal computers. Including a great slasher and a cult RPG game.

Darksiders: Genesis (starting August 6, console only)

This is the next installment of a great slasher series, in which we face hordes of demons and angels. We are going on an exciting trip to Hell and back – and the corpse will drift thickly. As the title of the game suggests, this is a prequel to the series, describing the events before the first Darksiders game.

It Lurks Below (starting August 6, consoles and PC)

This is a survival RPG created by one man. The levels in the game are generated randomly, so the game will be fun also on the second, third and fifteenth try. It has a lovely retro-2D aesthetic.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (starting August 6, console only)

A very good adventure game that tells the story of five friends who went on a diving holiday. A powerful storm not only shatters their plans, but – as it soon turns out – hides something particularly sinister and deadly. The further course of history will depend on us and the decisions we make.

Trailmakers (from August 6, consoles and PC)

The task is deceptively simple. You build a vehicle with bricks and then use it to explore an alien planet. Your main challenge is the laws of physics, and your imagination will be limited by few blocks – we can build super cars, hovercraft, helicopters and much, much more.

UnderMine (from August 6, consoles and PC)

It’s a rougelike game with lots of dungoncrawler elements. Our task will be to obtain raw materials from undiscovered dungeons and develop our character – thanks to the latter, we will gain access to other interesting places over time. It will not be easy – powerful enemies will stand on our way.

Xeno Crisis (from August 6, consoles and PC)

Seven worlds. 10 weapons. And you, ready to face thousands of different opponents – alone or on two gamepads. The game is heavily inspired by classics from 16-bit consoles. The creators of the game also boast a great soundtrack, which – it must be admitted – is especially important in classic games.

Final Fantasy VII HD (from August 13, consoles and PC)

This game is worth getting acquainted with. According to many, it was a breakthrough for the jRPG genre and video games in general. I am not sure about such a positive assessment, but nevertheless the refreshed version of the classic Final Fantasy should be known. Not only because of the improved graphics, but also – and maybe most of all – the amazing story.

F1 2019 (Out Now, Consoles & PC)

This is the best Formula 1 series for today and is officially licensed. So we can count not only on a great setting, excellent mechanics from the masters of Codemasters, but also on authentic tracks, drivers and cars.

What is Xbox Game Pass?

As part of the subscription, Xbox Game Pass provides unlimited access to over 200 games from the Xbox offer – you can freely install and remove them without any further fees. All Xbox Game Studios games appear in XGP always for release and remain in service permanently.
