Telekom: Another 290,000 households benefit from broadband expansion

Deutsche Telekom announced that in June it increased the maximum surfing and downstream speed for a further 290,000 households.

In Germany, 32.8 million households can now surf the telecommunications network at up to 100 megabits per second (MBit / s) or more. 23.9 million households can even go online at up to 250 Mbit / s or more.

In the meantime, Telekom has connected 1.8 million households to the fiber optic network, an additional increase of 37,000. This even speeds up to one gigabit per second.
