New MediaTek Dimensity 720: 5G and 90Hz displays for the mid-range

Again, MediaTek announces yet another processor for the mid-range. This time we talk about the MediaTek Dimensity 720 , a processor with 5G support and capable of supporting displays of up to 90Hz .

In detail, this new MediaTek Dimensity 720 has been presented just a few hours ago as a processor consisting of eight cores: 2x Cortex-A76 at 2.0GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 . In turn, its GPU is an ARM Mali-G57 capable of supporting a resolution of up to 1080p at 90Hz and supporting HDR10 + .

Beyond that, this new MediaTek Dimensity 720 that we could see very soon in a new Xiaomi smartphone has support for R AM LPDDR4 memories, UFS 2.2 storage, 5G UltraSave technology, sub-6GHz networks and Bluetooth 5.1.
