It was to be feared. TENET , the cinema hope of the summer, was removed from the start plan and postponed indefinitely.
Many cinema operators hoped that Christopher Nolan’s TENET would initiate the comeback of the cinema industry to Corona. The highly anticipated film promises a lot, including full cinemas.
But now things are different. After several postponements, Warner Bros.’s film has now been permanently postponed indefinitely. The financial risk is too great.
Warner Bros. does not want and cannot risk that TENET will only start in a few cinemas. Internally, it is rumored that the film has to gross $ 800 million in order for profit to be made.
TENET will probably only be released in cinemas in 2021.
