BMW iX3 will be shown on July 14th

BMW announced that it will launch the production version of the iX3, a new electric SUV, on July 14.

At the launch of the BMW iX3 concept car in 2018, the German car manufacturer said it would be the first electric vehicle to be based on the fifth-generation technology of the electric drive, which is intended to enable a greater electrical range.

The next generation is also the first fully electric vehicle that BMW has been launching since the i3 in 2013. It is expected to hit the market by the end of the year.

BMW iX3 is built in China

BMW announced that "the presentation of the very first BMW iX3 in digital form" will be on July 14 at 10:00 a.m. It will be broadcast live on all social media from BMW.

The BMW iX3 will be the German automobile manufacturer’s first car to be produced in China and exported to other markets. It is expected to come to Europe later this year.

In addition to the presentation, BMW could also reveal the data of the electric SUV. BMW has spoken of a 74 kWh battery package that, according to the automaker, should enable a range of 440 km in the WLTP test cycle with a single charge.
