Xiaomi has presented its first system to convert our curtains into "smart curtains". We are talking about the Mijia Smart Curtain , a small motor that very little enters a new element of home automation in our home.
Although its official launch will not take place until June 10, a day before the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5, the firm has shown us today what its new Mijia Smart Curtain is like. This, through a direct power supply to an electrical outlet, allows us to motorize our curtain rail .
For this, the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Curtain has a silent DC type motor located inside a small structure of just 10cm in length. Its maximum noise is 30dB and with a power of 20W it is capable of moving almost any curtain, however thick it is.
