Tesla: Big problems with the ramp-up of Model Y.
Tesla apparently has bigger problems with the ramp-up of Model Y than expected. but this is nothing unusual for the manufacturer.
Model 3 already had massive problems starting production. The quality was not right, a lot of manual work had to be done, which meant that only a few cars left the assembly lines a day.
After the Corona break it seems to be quite the same with Model Y. Again, quality seems to be lacking, if you can believe some reports. And the problems should be more serious than with the Model 3.

So the gap dimensions should not fit, but where you might still be able to overlook them. However, some parts have not been installed correctly or inadequately. There should also be major problems with the paint.
However, Tesla does not see this as a reason for complaints and even refuses to rectify it. Even the return within 7 days and getting a new Model Y – no result !
According to Electrek , the forums are literally flooded with reports of errors in the new Tesla Model Y, dissatisfied customers and cases in which Tesla centers voluntarily cancel handovers due to quality reasons.
Let’s see if the Model Y from Grünheide will be delivered without quality problems next year . Hopefully the German employees will then have a better eye for the quality. Hopefully.
