Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra: 50x zoom confirmed again

Now it has been confirmed again that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will not have the 100x space zoom of the S20 Ultra, but will be able to zoom a maximum of 50 times.

This new information comes from Ice Universe , a well-known tipster on Twitter. They also go hand in hand with the information that emerged not long ago that claimed that the "Space Zoom" branding was disappearing . Incidentally, this rumor comes from the same source.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra’s 100x zoom was not really good, so not many people will miss it. The quality of the image left a lot to be desired, which explains the departure from this large zoom.

We can therefore count on a 108 MP main camera, a 13 MP periscope camera with 50x zoom, a 12 MP ultra wide-angle camera and a laser focus sensor.

The sensor will be the 1 / 1.33 ″ Samsung Bright HM1 – the same one that is also installed in the SamsungGalaxy S20 Ultra. The additional laser focus sensor will support the main camera instead of a static ToF sensor.

The sensor behind the ultra-wide angle lens will be a 12 MP ISOCELL Fast 2L3, which is 1 / 2.55 ″ in size and equipped with PDAF. According to the leak, there will also be a periscope telephoto lens, but it has a 13 MP Samsung Slim 3M5 sensor with 1 / 3.4 ″. With the smaller sensor compared to the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, the zoom will be limited to 50 times.
