Pixels with a June 2020 patch should not install Android 11 DevPrev 4 via OTA

Google released the latest June 2020 security patch on Monday. However, there seem to be a few issues with Developer Preview 4.

Google is currently warning users of pixel smartphones that if they have already installed the June 2020 patch, they should not install Android 11’s Develper Preview 4 via OTA.

Sideloading the DP4 OTA images does not work properly on devices with the June 10, 2020 security patch (build QQ4A.200605.001) and can cause problems.

You should rather use the images from the download page and install them on your smartphone using the Android Flash Tool.
