OnePlus Nord: New name for the OnePlus Z & first picture

The OnePlus Z will get a completely different name. Now the name OnePlus Nord or Nord by OnePlus appears on the web for the OnePlus smartphone of the middle class.

It is already known that the OnePlus Z aka OnePlus Nord will be presented in India on July 10th . Now there is also a first picture including the packaging of the model. And there is a bold “Z” to be seen there.

It is quite possible that the device will get a different name in India. The information situation about the OnePlus Z aka OnePlus Nord is still rather vague. Nobody knows exactly yet.

The OnePlus Z aka OnePlus Nord is expected to be equipped with a 6.55 ″ S-AMOLED 90 Hz display with a “punch hole” for a 16 MP selfie camera. A triple camera setup consisting of a 64 MP sensor, a 16 MP sensor and a 2 MP sensor is expected on the back of the phone. There is also a laser autofocus.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G will work inside. The Android 10 based on OxygenOS 10 will be on-board out of the box on the device. The battery is said to have a capacity of 4,300 mAh, it can be quickly charged with 30W using a cable.

The OnePlus Z aka OnePlus Nord will be equipped with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. It will be available in black, blue, white and another limited edition color.

Nothing is known about the price of the OnePlus Z aka OnePlus Nord. However, it should be a mid-range smartphone. Means that OnePlus will probably go back a bit to its roots.

In a recent survey by the manufacturer, a price of EUR 300.00 was given. It is doubtful whether it will really be that cheap.
