Huawei Mate 40 series is supposed to appear on time

Huawei has felt like reading the news every day since the US government blacklisted the Chinese manufacturer last May. And that is slowly having an impact on smartphones.

A few days ago it was read that the Huawei Mate 40 series should be postponed . The reason for this should be the extension of the sanctions for another 1 year and also the cutting off of the processor manufacturer TSMC .

But now it can be read that the Mate 40 series will come onto the market in October as planned, despite the current situation. However, this is not yet officially confirmed by Huawei.

As a result, the U.S. government’s new sanction against TSMC is a major blow to Huawei. But it wo n’t come into force until September . An earlier report said that the new 5nm Kirin 1000 chipset will be delivered on time.

Huawei will therefore have access to all required 5nm and 10nm mobile chips as well as 16nm and 28nm TWS chips by mid-September as planned.

The tipster also says that the Huawei Mate 40 series will hit the market in October and Huawei plans to ship around 8 million devices in the fourth quarter of 2020.
