Corona warning app: Huawei smartphones without Google will soon be able to use the app

The Corona warning app has finally been available in Germany since Tuesday. However, users of current Huawei models without Google services cannot yet use the app.

Huawei released its own interface for the app a few days ago, but the app is not yet able to access it. This will take a few more days.

However, some adjustments still need to be made. Huawei confirmed this on request. Exactly which adjustments were not revealed.

Huawei itself speaks of just under 2 weeks that will take time. But many Huawei users are unlikely to be affected. Because the number of smartphones sold by the manufacturer without Google services should be quite manageable.
