. At Rs 1,499, it is one of the cheapest fitness bands around for beginners. It consists of a central module with a 0.96-inch touchscreen that has no protruding buttons of any kind on the body. There is a small circle at the bottom of the touch display that acts as a home button. There are two removable straps that are very thin and can be fastened very tightly but they don’t chafe on the skin.
The fitness band can be charged via the inbuilt USB connector (with the gold-plated charging pins), which reveals itself when the top strap is pulled out.
The band charged to 20% within the first 15 minutes while charging using a laptop. It takes about an hour or more to charge it to full. The pairing is also easy enough — plug in the band for charging if it is not charged, switch on
and open Realme Link app on your Android phone (it is not there on iOS), scan for the device and pair it.
Realme Band takes about 2 seconds to wake up when the wrist is moved. Or else, just tap on the home button and it will come alive. To navigate the user interface, just tap the home button or swipe the home button.
The Band tells you the number of steps you take, calories you burn and your heart rate. There are three fitness modes — Cricket, Yoga and Run — for more intensive activities than just walking. There are six more sport modes: Bike, Climbing, Cycling, Fitness, Hiking and Spinning. But the caveat is that only three can be used at a time. That means when going outside without your smartphone, you need to pre-select which three you want for that day with the help of the Realme Link app.
This is a basic fitness band and priced lower than the Mi Band 3 with a clear strategy to undercut the market from
. The battery life can stretch on for 4-5 days or longer if you aren’t a hardcore fitness enthusiast. Overall, with a sturdy look, choice of sport modes, and very affordable pricing, the Realme Band is a good choice for those who are slowly starting on their fitness journey.

The Chinese smartphone maker’s first ever online-only event took place on 14 April, as countries around the world struggled to cope with the Covid-19 crisis. OnePlus 8, in terms of design is light, curvy and thin. In addition to Onyx Black and Glacial Green, the OnePlus 8 will be available in Interstellar Glow. It will come in two storage variants – 8GB + 128GB at $699 (approximately Rs 53,730) and 12GB + 256GB at $799 (approximately Rs 61,417).OnePlus 8 Pro, on the other hand, sports a 120 Hz QHD+ AMOLED Display, and silky-smooth, matte-frosted touch and increased haze levels. It will come in two storage variants – 8GB + 128GB at $899 (approximately Rs 69,112) and 12GB + 256GB at $999 (approximately Rs 76,800).Also launched at the event were Warp Charge 30 Wireless which charges 60 per cent in 30 minutes and lightweight OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z.

The new offering from the Chinese smartphone maker was launched on April 13 when the Covid-19 pandemic had reached its peak in several countries around the world.Ironically, Oppo Ace 2 was first launched in China, which also happens to be the epicentre of the novel coronavirus outbreak. Not much is known about its global availability. Huawei launched the three variants on March 26 in an online launch event.Huawei P40 offers 5G connectivity and so do the other variants, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+.
